A short while ago I created a group on Facebook titled: Restaurantsin Malta:The Good; The Bad; The Rip-Offs.
The purpose of this group is to give members a medium through which they can voice their personal opinions with reference to the quality of food, service and pricing in restaurants in Malta, and to create an awarness for excellence, both as demanded by clients as well as that which should be given by restaurateurs.
Posts must be sent in from bona fede patrons from own experience, good or bad.
No adverts are accepted from any outlet. Posts must be sent by authentic group members with photo shown, otherwise we will open the door to all sorts of undesirable contributions.
Sections on WINE are edited by myself, and wines featured in these discussion topics must have been tasted and reviewed by us for quality. Again no adverts are accepted from winemakers or importers. The wine has to be reviewed by us before we can feature it for members' consumption.
A weekly round-up of the good as well as the dissapointing restaurants will be edited by us from members own posts. Sometimes we vet the outlet ourselves if more than one post is sent in about an outlet and we feature our own views as well - good or bad.
Anyone can join. The rule to send in posts are that they should be from own experience of any particular restaurant, winebar, fastfood outlet, etc. Posts must be from members which are registered with photo and e-mail address.
We invite you to join and urge you to have a voice. If you are paying for a service demand the best. If you get good quality service tell us about it, if you are dissappointed name and shame the outlet. that's the only way that service and quality are improved. Do not accept mediocrity, strive for perfection or at least for the best.
If you are interested join today. Log-in to Facebook, search for the group by name: Restaurants in Malta:The Good; The Bad;The Rip-Offs, and simply click on "join this group".
There are already around 590 members and increasing daily.
Thanks and best regards
